Free Vocal Screening for World Voice Day!

Singer's Forum
Dr. Sarah Stackpole, in association with Singers Forum, is offering free vocal screenings for singers on April 16, 2010, World Voice Day. World Voice Day encourages men and women, young and old, to assess their vocal health and take action to improve or maintain good voice habits.
Appointments will be from 8am - 12noon (20 slots only) and they will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Anyone interested should call the doctor's office at 212-585-2600 to schedule a time. The screening with videostroboscopy is completely free, and will include a picture of your vocal cords that you can take with you. Treatment of any kind is not included as part of this offer. The office is located at 240 E. 79th St., NYC.

Sarah Stackpole, MD is a board-certified otolaryngologist who treats a wide variety of conditions in the head and neck area. She has a long-standing interest in voice, sinus and ear conditions which particularly affect performers. Dr. Stackpole has pursued her focus on performance since her study at the Juilliard School of Music prior to medical school.
She also has a keen interest in diagnostic challenges in otolaryngology, and works extensively with pulmonary, gastroenterology and rheumatologic specialists to coordinate the care of complex patients. Dr. Stackpole serves on the teaching faculty at both Cornell Weill and New York University medical schools, where she participates in both resident and medical student education.
